The husband and wife team of Leszek Garwacki and Courtney Ormond began in the watch business by restoring and modifying vintage watches in 2016.  They then evolved into designing their own line of laCalifornienne timepieces - with the first original collection named 'Daybreak'. The timepieces in the Daybreak collection are inspired by the vibrant hues of California's sunrises, sunsets, beach days and nostalgia for 60's pop culture.

The charming and creative duo also create watch straps in a plethora of colored stripes. The handmade and hand-painted straps ae worn by celebrities such as Hilary Duff, Ryan Reynolds (who owns quite a few colorways), Blake Lively, Jenna Lyons, as well as Kristen Bell, Busy Phillips, Kate Upton and Justin Verlander. 

They draw inspiration from the infinite color palettes we see from dusk until dawn and in the magic hour of the California sky.
